Google maps suggests it’s around a 20 minute journey from the ground to the station by taxi. If you have never been to Stoke (how fortunate you are) it’s a conglomeration of 6 towns and Burslem where Port Vale play is well away from Stoke station.
So you would have to prebook a taxi to leave before the end of the game and hope to God it turns up..
Options? Well I checked the National Coach services and there is a 1.05am coach on the Sat morning to London arriving at 6am. But the thought of hanging round Hanley (another of the 6 towns) Bus Station till 1am is fairly horrifying.
In summary: get a taxi organised and leave early or book a Travelodge or Premier Inn and stay over. Not necessarily in Stoke but somewhere you can get to after the game whilst still seeing the end of the game.
