Mentioning Portsmouth’s “”great home form” etc and then slipped in about how they were beaten 4 - 0 by Blackpool, but then added
“ now that was an anomaly” No accepting that we were the better team and deserved the win.
As I live in Bolton I was naturally messaging quite a few mates and reminding them of our result.

It was an anomaly though in the season. Portsmouth have lost one league game since mid-March. And responded to it by scoring seven without reply in their next three games. We built on it with a home defeat to Northampton and that's more like who we've been so far.

Why are people always so upset if Blackpool aren't spoken about with god like praise?

It was yes but it was also a damn fine performance by us which deserved a little bit more of a mention but I’m not going to lose sleep over it.
