Another League one club is considering a stadium move. A complete new one by the sounds of it. Peterborogh are drawing up plans to a site that will be part of other improvements. Which is making even putting up one new stand look like the rebuilding of the emprire state building. WE know things take time but ffs.

Until all the houses are purchased by the council work cannot start on the stand. The club have no control over council affairs.

You're comparing a club making an announcement against actually finishing a project. They aren't the same thing.

The thing about Peterborough is land will be cheap, no one really wants to live there and how big would you realistically build it?!

Peterborough have built two new stands in the last 15 years and have land around the other 2 sides so they can redevelop. I'd be astonished if they relocated.

How many times did the O's promise a new stadium?

One at the end of the M55.

One with a removable base,

One with a removable Roof,

Two together a small one and a large one.

Any others?

We are at the mercy of the council because we decided not to re-locate, and instead redevelop on the existing site - a decision that I would still support if it took another 20 years to knock the houses down so the east stand can be built. Nothing contributes more to removing the soul of a football club than relocating to an out of town site on an industrial or retail estate.
We just have to have some more patience, as frustrating as it is.

Me too.
There's something not quite right about relocating any historic football stadium. Unless it's the shi**y red Mancs - I don't care where they go 🤣
Bloomfield Road is & always will be our cathedral 🧡
