Positives

Despite a system I still don't think suits us we were definitely far better than at Rotherham.

Scored a great team goal, good passing and slick movement.

We were well in the game, an even ish game really overall, we had spells they had their main spell second half.

Players should get better the more they play together, which still isn't a lot, for eg Patino, Dougall or the back line with Husband in it.

Husband was a positive influence for me, we will be better with him in the team.

Disappointing to concede from a corner and looked an error from Grimshaw, but for me he saves that most the time easily.

As soon as CJ came on Patino hit a ball over the top like he did in the cup, that type of passing ability is so simple yet so needed as not a lot of ours can do it. That will lead to more chances in other games. Patino is only just back and probably not fully upto speed yet.

It was more the result that upset people and a bad period in the second half that cost us, as well as a GK mistake in the first. We can go on about formations but we were well in a very tight game that didn't go our way.

Good to read but I've seen both goals and the defence does not come out well for either. There was a time.e when these lads would throw themselves in front of everything. I'm not seeing that of late.

It was better than Rotherham, better than Stoke. For the first time this season I thought we passed the ball better than the opposition but it's a very low bar as Millwall were short of confidence same as we were.

Lots of stuff still way off though. Formation, don't understand. It was 343 which we implemented better but can't see why we need it. Theo, brilliant/awful in the same 3 second period. Lavery, how long does he need to get back into form?

Conceding set pieces at Rotherham/Millwall is not the end of the world but we have awful fixtures coming up and players/coaching staff need to up their games massively.

No but I haven't seen us concede from many corners this season and a rare mistake from Grimmy. I think they do but were just outmuscled for that corner feom whoever was marking him.

They are still fairly good at home and tough to play against at times, having won 3 game so far there.

Formation I hope now definitely changes. Lavery is a strange one, great energy but gone completely off the boil up top.

Theo showed great skill and strength on his runs, but also needs to learn to pass.

We usually do better against better sides, not sure if that'll be the case again, but we did well vs Bristol city for eg and could have won it, also lost it but drew.

The championship can go any way, no game is a formality.

We have played more games away from home and teams still have to come to us and with the fans behind us we can do well.

Whats happened had happened, its a very tight league, a point or 2 and we move up massively and have a slightly different perspective on it.

Jerry Yates has got his mojo back, constantly pressing and running his socks off despite getting a clattering. Also showed great composure to set up Patino's goal. Patino definitely made a difference in midfield and plays with his head up, linked well with Dougall before he ran out of gas. Corbeanu is very direct and gave Millwall problems but he needs to learn when to cross and pass similar to Bowler last season. The international break has come at the right time we need to work on getting the new players and the ones returning from injury up to speed and integrated. I still feel we need a replacement for Keogh alongside Big Marv sad to say it but Williams looks like a waste of a loan/money.

The most worrying thing for me is that you can't say that at least we are good in one outfield department
Granted we are not helped by strange formations but its not like we are lacking in defence because we are strong in attack

Hopefully that puts to bed 5 at the back.

Good to see Patino score a well worked goal.

We're 2 games closer to seeing the back of Appleton.
