Slight concern we would an inexperienced player on loan who is not fully fit .At the same time Barnsley could sign George Byers . Looks like a cheap but possibly unsatisfactorily option.

I'm really not being negative when I say this, but please can we sign players on a contract rather than continually loaning players?
At the end of their loans, they return to their parent club & our rebuild starts again.

Moving from one L1 club to another, I can't see anything in his record that leads me to think he'd get significant game time here ahead of the likes of Virtue, Oakley-Booth etc, plus he's injured, so I can't see why we as a club would want him, or why he and his parent club would want him here.
Maybe if it was a permanent move, that might be a different matter.

If we get him he's a steal...... building for the future not just for today. If he does sign he probably won't even be in the 1st team squad. People need to stop flapping
