Post match manager interviews

They have to be one of the most pointless things in football.

Arteta tonight basically said he had no problem at all with his players, was proud of them and it was all the refs fault. Not only was it cringing to watch but completely fake and likely the opposite of what he would have said to the players in the dressing room.

This season I have no doubt that NC had said things in his post match interviews that he didn’t believe (and which led to an overreaction from the Gazette and some of our fans), and again were likely nothing close to what he said in the dressing room.

Not to mention Scott Parker, Russell Martin and Nigel Pearson’s interviews after the games here.

Maybe I should stop watching them but can’t help but think they don’t serve any purpose other than winding people up 😂

Not even worth listening to . Hardly likely to tell the truth . It's a bit like the week before a new season starts , and the local media asks the manager his expectations for the coming season . It's all we hope to improve and get amongst the play offs etc . Ever heard one say , we look likely to be nearly relegated by Christmas? Switch off before they get asked unless you care for excuses .
