Poveda and Bowler watch

He would be okay if football was non-contact, unfortunately as soon as the action starts for real and tackles start flying

he will go missing again. He will end up playing overseas, maybe in the new Saudi league.

Bowler will go to a team like Hull, a mid to low championship club on loan. im sure the powers that be have already asked the question. we move on UTMP

Poveda didn't do himself any favours last season I'd give him a wide berth, but he won't be coming back so it's immaterial . As for Bowler even when he had his good spell I thought he was very one dimensional & when teams sussed that out he was much less effective, add the loss of confidence after the unsuccessful stint in Greece & he was hopeless. I doubt he'll end up back with us unless NF pay most of his wages, but if he's as bad as last season then they can keep him. There was a slight improvement when Dobbie took temp charge TBF.

What games did you watch? Everytime he played he created more than CJ and is far superior a winger to anyone else bar Bowler. Weird comment.

Both casualties of terrible management towards the back end of last season, both brilliant players on their day.

I hope Poveda does well for Leeds and Josh gets a good move to a club that suits his style of play. Josh is definitely one of the most exciting players of the last few years, he was unplayable at times and great to watch despite his flaws.

I went to Tynecastle yesterday to see Hearts v Leeds (my next door neighbour is a Leeds fan and dragged me along).

Poveda came on early second half and looked pretty sharp - good first touch but final ball lacking.

Hearts were awful and Leeds should have won by more than the 1-0.

You have absolutely no idea about any of that really. All speculation.
Well apart from a) Watching him blowing out of his arse within 30 minutes of being on the pitch b) him walking out pre-match and lacking discipline c) A conversation I had with an individua closely connected to the coaching set up d) His propensity for injury, cramping up etc.. and e) the fact that he goes through football clubs like most of us go through socks...

He's a dick!! A talented dick, but a dick nonetheless 👎

.........and add to that x3 a total coward when it comes to tackling.

Hasn't he also had disciplinary issues at Leeds? Turning upto training late, missing gym sessions, etc. When he came to us I remember a Leeds fan saying that he needed to sort his attitude out and was hoping that would happen by being sent out on loan. As talented as the lad is, when you have multiple managers/clubs saying he has disciplinary issues then it's obvious that he's his own worst enemy.

Saw a tweet saying Bowler going on loan to a Championship club, Cardiff and Stoke both possibilities. Just a tweet obviously.

Every point you make there can be blown apart.

The fact he goes through football clubs like socks, why have you only ever had 4 pairs of socks? Man City perm. Leeds perm. Blackburn loan. Blackpool loan. Like I said, your post is an absolute load of nonsense bollocks isn't it?

England U16-EnglandU20 - 31 international caps 9 goals. Not bad for someone with an attitude and that's a dick.

The only coward when it comes to the physical nature of our game is CJ Hamilton. One of the biggest cowards we've ever had.
Dont beat about the bush Kurt.

I do think you're a bit blinded by hatred on this one. CJ is no footballing genius but he has his uses and hes a good guy who doesn't deserve your out and out contempt. Youll never make a football pundit talking like that.

I don't want to be a football pundit, the guy is absolutely atrocious and I want the best for my football club. CJ bails out of 80/20 tackles in his favour. Wins 1 header out of 40. Has the touch of a lamp post. Has zero and I mean zero skill to beat a man. He forces us to play an awful style of football because he's quick thus meaning we go long and in the pocket behind full backs. He puts the majority of his crosses into the stands or out for throw ins. He plays "well" once in 9-10 games and is absolutely anonymous in the rest. Any quick full back and he's utterly useless. He has awful positional play. He hasn't improved in one single aspect of his game since we left League One. And us putting up with this standard and quality of player and you can include others is why we got relegated last season.

No balance or objectivity whatsoever. Gross exaggeration.

The fact you cannot argue at all, in any sense against what I've said proves I'm actually correct. There's zero point replying, there's no substance behind him being a good player. I can JUST and I mean JUST about accept him as an impact player with pace in the last 15 minutes, but tell me a game where he absolutely dominated it? Where he came on and got us a goal?

I can tell you one game where he was incredible in the last 3 years and it was Swindon at home. 9/10 performance. He hasn't had a single other 9/10 performance since. 8/10 v the Knobs this season, not incredible?

Tell me a game where he turned it around or made a massive impact on his own?

Wasn't it made clear by both Appleton and McCarthy that he was left out due to disciplinary issues on a few occasions?

As shite as they were, they are both seasoned managers in football (McCarthy a little over seasoned), it's unlikely they were both the issue in the same season with the same player. The common denominator is Poveda, very talented lad but he may have a bit of an attitude problem.

Yet you’ve not blown any of them apart…

He was complete Wank at Blackpool simple as that.

Weird how he wasn't an issue at Blackburn or Leeds though? Or at England camps? But was an issue for two utterly ** wank managers who haven't had any substantial success in the last 10 years.

This I find the most confusing thing about CJ. He’s an ex hurling player which is frankly a brutal version of hockey. You’d have thought he wouldn’t be in the slightest bit concerned at going into headers or tackles compared to some crazy spud muncher clubbing him around the head with a big stick getting him to drop the ball (hurl)?

He's had disciplinary issues at Leeds, including being late for training and not showing up to gym sessions. Leeds fans told us that when he signed for us, bags of talent but his attitude was in question.

And yet he's still playing for Leeds and is starting to shine. All kids have moments where they are dicks. Jerry was out on the piss during COVID and he was seen to be a dick but we loved him. Charlie Adam had a huge tantrum because he didn't get his move and basically got us relegated by losing his form in the PL but we still loved him?

The issue last season were the managers, no one else.

I 100% agree with you, last season was down to shit managers and I was one of the people screaming for him to play. I'm just saying it wasn't just with us he had issues. I wish the lad nothing but the best because he is extremely talented. Hopefully he put his dick head days behind him and had matured so he can push on.

He was at Barcelona. Do we not count overseas clubs post Brexit 😉

To be fair, he was frequently late for training and was disciplined for such when with us, as well as at Leeds.

The language you use is ridiculous. And at times sort of offensive. I can argue as much as I want to, there is no point when you see things in terms as black and white as it is possible to be. And nothing proves you are correct. That's your own sense of delusion again. "I am 100% right and everything I say is 100% true."
