under a decent coach i think Poveda might be a very good player. Like corbaneau and bowler before he hasnt learnt to do the simple thing, and runs himslef into trouble. but he seems more willing to get a cross in and get into the right spaces.

Amazing what happens when you play actual wingers on the wing. It's also obvious 433 just does not work, 6 months of Applehead coaching the players and they still can't do it. What are the odds on him reverting back to 433 against Hull and then act surprised when we play sh1t.

Also think Appleton was right to drop him citing lack of discipline. That may have saved his career.
The number of players who are skilful enough to play at a good level, but throw it away is suprising.
