Pre Match Drinks

Now we’ve had a few home games where are you enjoying your pre match beers?

I started in the armfield for the first few games (an excellent venue) but got a little sick of the queues to get served and on occasion gave up and went in the ground for a beer.

I now go in the Bloomfield (hadn’t been in for years) great service and a good mixture of Pool fans to have a chat to etc. I’ll occasionally nip into the Armfield but think i’m settled for now.

I think the OP is a polite way of telling the Armfield to up the speed of their service as they are losing potential regular match day customers. Could be wrong like.

Never understood why the club don’t open the bars for say an hour after the game finishes.
You can go to the Corner bar in the hotel for that they want fans out of the ground or they would have to keep security on is was a bit different when we had a supporters bar.

I go to the Bloomfield pub it's on the way from where I park my car always enjoyed it in there.

Think I’ll have to do that, I’ve got a season ticket for the car parks and getting out after the game is an absolute nightmare, i Park in Bloomfield Road car park, which I believe is over 600 cars, why there’s only one exit, which allows one car at a time out is beyond me.

Took me an age to get home yesterday and I park on the main road 5 min walk from the ground it was gridlocked everywhere.
Shopers, holidaymakers locals out for the day and BFC fans always comes together on a Saturday at 5pm always been the same.

Seemed busier than usual yesterday, probably due to the ridiculously warm weather and the extra away fans. M55 coming into Blackpool was packed as well on the way home with lights traffic.

Follow this link on Twitter. Looks like they’re listening an The Armfield Club.

Saturdays is the No.10 for me and JD Drinkwater for mid-week games. Lovely real ales in both.
I go where I’m told for away matches and have found something called lager.

Give the guys a break. They have turned that rundown club around into a meeting place for pool fans to have a drink within a stones throw of the ground.
no one certainly not I are giving the Armfield stick, they welcome the feedback and as big Carv has shown readily listen to the feedback.
