Preston named best place to live for families.

Unfortunately moved to it a couple of years ago and it’s absolutely awful for families. I spend most of my free time going to other towns for something to do with kids.

I had the misfortune to work in the $hithole. Far too diverse for my liking, everyone looks miserable and the indigenous Knob Enders use a strange dialect
They referred to their wives as pegs, cars as cares, etc. Really strange folk.

Here's the report.

It's actually laughable in some areas.

Child friendly restaurants... Calling bollox on ratings for that. Blackpool has tons of restaurants and caters for MILLIONS of families per year all the time.

Childcare costs at 500 a month for Preston... no lol, good luck finding that. Apparently Blackpool, the very poor town everyone likes remind people of, has quite a bit more expensive child care, just inaccurate.

Blackpool is 32nd on this list, but look at the category for things to do with kids.

Blackpool gets a score of 3.8 (per 10k ppl), Preston 3.9. Shrewsbury has more to do than Blackpool 🤣 Top 10 things to do in Shrewsbury, when I saw a church's, parks, falconry and a vineyard I had to laugh. Yeah I bet kids will have an absolute ball there. Much better than the pleasure beach, sandcastle, Tower, zoo, sealife centre, beach, arcades, waxworks, circus, piers, shows, illuminations, etc etc etc.

I've sorted it by things to do with kids... per 10k people. Apparently Preston has more to do than Blackpool 🤣

I suppose it's saying because people live in Preston you can go to Blackpool to do things.

Laughable really.
