Had a printout ready but also had it on my phone, went in the scanner no problem and worked.
The only issue is the pdf ticket isn't designed to be scanned as the barcode is vertical on the side, so I had to rotate the phone then zoom in without letting it rotate back by holding it flat, then the barcode is at the bottom of the phone.
But it does work and there's no need to print out....
Probably works better from a phone as you can guarantee the quality and up the brightness.
Maybe it'll be re worked at some point to be even easier to do. If the barcode was horizontal it'd be a lot easier.
