Pub Bands

The great thing about the location is that it was a few minutes walk from the Saddle and the Boars Head, 2 great pubs back ten, the Saddle was the best pint in Blackpool.
 
Rupert are always a good watch. Also liked The Good Machine. Former boss of mine was bass in Blue Pig Orchestra, very good too.

As covers go the best I've seen is AC/BC. Don't know how many are local though, I know the drummer from work but not the rest. Just wish I could work out who they're a tribute to.....
 
Just catching up on this great thread. Wow the memories of the 80’s live music. Used to go to all the Rock Battles at the Coral Island some fabulous bands in the day. I always liked Switzerland
 
Touch The Pearl seem to have been around for ages. Went to school with the (current) keyboard player (Gaz) and seem to recall regularly seeing the lead singer at Bloomfield Road.
Anyone know how long they've been going?
 
When I was a paperboy there was a pool fan in a wheel chair called Gary i used to help him in and out of the shop. I think lived on lightbown
