For foodies really, though the bar looks nice and well stocked too.

The White Bull at Ribchester

Been going to this place for about 30 years on and off as its had its ups and downs. Back to its best now. Had a lovely meal there today.
If you don’t mind a 40 minute drive out for your lunch I’d highly recommend

You do know eating( and drinking,yes I know you don’t these days) in enemy country isn’t allowed.

Anyway too far for me and home cooking is best.
Sea Bream on Spanish style potatoes and onions with Mange Toute…I married a very good cook( and I’m not too bad either)..todays Sunday Lunch.

Whilst we are giving a recommendation the fish was from Sea it Fresh…they are Fleetwood based but used to have a good fishmongers shop in Cheadle Village( Stockport) but decided to just do deliveries now.
This was the base before going into the oven.
There are a few on here who live in the area who might want to try them out
