That is presuming the missile would get through all the defense systems in place not just in the UK but across Europe plus the US nuclear subs in the North Sea or wherever they hang out.

If a missile is launched then while it is still in the air there would be retaliatory strikes on Putin's bunker and other targets in Russia.

A military expert said a couple of weeks ago on Sky that our defences probably wouldn’t be able to intercept. If that’s true it’s worrying.

It’s time for diplomacy not mutual threats, even if Putin is an evil **, before Ukraine is completely destroyed, the safety of Ukrainians must be the priority. Russia cannot occupy and subdue the Ukrainians, the country is too large and the resistance has demonstrated that. So Putin’s only route to “victory” is to destroy the country’s cities and infrastructure.

Long term, the Putin regime is done for anyway as sanctions will crush their economy. The EU and especially the Germans have to stop funding Russia to get gas. And then the gangsters will take action, as they are fed up losing their super yachts and western mansions already.

Read it in the MOS also seen a video clip of him saying the Kremlin have backed his plan to attack any country found supplying arms to Ukraine.
This agreement also includes the use of nuclear weapons as well he proudly states in his brief.

You are forgetting the obvious benefits a nuclear detonation on Sellafield would bring to the UK’s renewable energy market, the blast radius would provide “free” wind to our offshore Wind Turbines and the heat produced would keep a million OAP’s warm without the need to use their free bus passes to ride around on public transport all day trying to keep warm. That's not how it works though. Once war is declared Putin can take sole command of the red button. On 9th May Putin will declare war on Ukraine and on any country supporting Ukraine with weapons. There is certainly a chance that he's eyeing us up as a target.
