If old Sleepy can muster up enough pills to keep him awake it could be an interesting meeting.
We really do see the world in a different view. The US aren't remotely worried by Putin, he's just an irritant to them with little actual threat, he knows they know and is constantly trying to stay relevant now his pet poodle Trump has gone. Biden can more or less laugh in his face.
Bit of a silly question anyway, Trump was President when the Capitol attack happened, I imagine Biden will tell him to shut the fuck up and do what I tell you or we'll choke your already bankrupt nation even further.
Do you seriously believe and agree with the comments you cited in your op?We really do see the world in a different view.
Which part ?Do you seriously believe and agree with the comments you cited in your op?
I think your political intuition is wrong on this one. Putin is a major threat:a threat to his people, a threat to his neighbours in the Baltic and around the Black and Caspian seas and a threat to NATO countries with his digital espionage and KGB poisoning activities. The US aren't remotely worried by Putin, he's just an irritant to them with little actual threat, he knows they know and is constantly trying to stay relevant now his pet poodle Trump has gone. Its hardly a gradual bonding? They've been dry bumming each other since the cold WarThe problem is not Putin in isolation, but the gradual bonding of the Chinese and Russian Nations.
Not always. At one time the thinking was any nuclear war would be between the Soviet Union and China. Its hardly a gradual bonding? They've been dry bumming each other since the cold War

Precisely, but he's far from the existential threat some people believe, he absolutely knows just how far to push it without serious repercussions, he's playing at still being a superpower which they haven't been since the early 90s.I think your political intuition is wrong on this one. Putin is a major threat:a threat to his people, a threat to his neighbours in the Baltic and around the Black and Caspian seas and a threat to NATO countries with his digital espionage and KGB poisoning activities.
He's a menace to the world and needs slapping down.
Two totally in charge of everything that goes on in their respective nations. The problem is not Putin in isolation, but the gradual bonding of the Chinese and Russian Nations.
China, spot on. Russia, less so. Once Putin goes I think cracks will open up in the ruling elite. It no longer has a huge party machine behind it, unlike China. Two totally in charge of everything that goes on in their respective nations.
They both need a concerted revolution against them.
Unfortunately, they each have so much power it will not happen.
He'll die in power. He's an egotist and supremely introverted.Putin is a lot more risk averse and less the macho adventurer than people realise. He tries to play the ` bad boy don`t tangle with me` maverick, but only when he is confident of predicting the outcome. He wants safe choices with guaranteed success. By nature he is cautious and avoids tough decisions because he knows his limits and how far he can provoke the west.
He is also not as secure as people may think he is; the National Domestic Guard is twice the size of the UK forces - probably out of necessity. He also may have a personal problem when he relinquishes power and becomes vulnerable.
