So what is her role?

It does sound made up so probably why the pre-cursor with “so called”?

Any other established, normal role could have that added in.
 
I remember her as a TV presenter. Incredibly dull but thought she was a personality. Irritating beyond belief. Top totty my ars*

It's so called because she's not really the Secretary for Common Sense, unsurprisingly. Minister without Portfolio. We've had them before such as Mandelson, but not with a remit to do with eliminating wokery whatever that might be.

Wokefinder General would have been better.

If that's the future of British Politics...I despair

I would have thought the Conference would be excruciatingly boring without Starmers entrance.

Also saw the snivelling self important Bliar in the audience looking more like a Spitting Image character than his namesake puppet.

Whereas Rishi flew to Dubai for three hours. That will save the planet.

Not that he gives a shit about the environment other than how he and his family can make money out of it.

The whole lot needs restructuring. House of Lords especially and stop all this crap about outgoing PMs nominating people for peerages etc.

Cameron back for another dip in the trough before they are thrown out. As Foreign Secretary he'll get another pension in addition to his former PM one, double do's

No, I totally agree Wiz, although I find your exclusive attacks on the Tories very very predictable.

At least I have the honesty to criticise cross party when its warranted.

Yes, but stereotyping is a bit naive as the Party has a fair share of decent politicians stymied by the hierarchy who admittedly should not be governing the country.

Your statement is also somewhat hypocritical when your party had Blair as the figurehead, who ticked several boxes within your above comment, not to mention Two Jags, or Kinnock who made sure most of his brood had lucrative jobs within Europe.

When it's appropriate I'll condemn anyone with their noses in the trough. Trouble is, the ones with access to the trough at the moment are all Tories and are maximising their opportunity while they can.

I suppose its a privilege of power, and Labour don't have any.

If you witnessed a Labour politician saving someone's life you'd call it fit to burst. Why don't you just see decent people when they're obvious?
