R.I.P Gordon McQueen

Didn't see that one coming. A good footballer for Leeds, Man Utd and Scotland. Will always be remembered for pulling back that Arsenal lad in the Cup Final.
 
Big Gordon scored for Scotland against England at Wembley when that was a fixture.

John Hollins left us yesterday too.

MrsTSS's biological dad, lives in the same, very nice village in North Yorkshire and was friends with GM for a long time; used to give him his comps for Boro and kits and things to MrsTSS's brother when he worked as a coach there.

I met him on a few occasions when out for a drink.

Lovely fella, he couldn't believe the gig he had with Sky, fancy taxi, flights, great hotel and getting paid handsomely (relatively speaking) to watch and talk about football, which kind of reflected how grounded he was.
