Radio Blackburn. Fleetwood best subs bench in the league apparently. No mention of Garner yet 🤞
 
This is why I object to paying the BBC licence. I've lost count of the times I'm driving home from the match and they talk about Blackburn for 30 minutes. With that and Chisnall, I would pay my BBC tax happily if only they'd scrap Radio Blackburn. Hopefully, one day...

I believe the BBC are wanting to up the licence fee to allow for Netflix, Prime etc

They can whistle, unless of course they are paying my subscription for those out of my increased fee !!!
 
Stupid thread that turns something about Fleetwoods bench into BBC bashing.
Sick of saying this on here but you couldn't be more wrong criticising Radio Lancs ,in fact you haven't got a clue. They have 7 teams to cover and they do it very well. The clue is in the title..It's Radio Lancashire not Radio Blackpool.They might spend a fraction more on the championship and premiership teams but it is a fraction and as a L1 club we do very well.You won't get the level of coverage as a L1 team elsewhere in the country and believe me I know.
Long live the BBC and the licence fee. Worth every penny and not just for local radio.

To be fair, many is the time I've driven away from Bloomfield Rd and had a pundit from Ewood Park waxing lyrical about Blackburn so that I only hear our manager's thoughts for 30 seconds just as I lose signal at the top of Windy Hill on the M62.

They must hate us. Surely. Ive listened to the last four or five Friday shows and we get zero coverage every single week. Last night they gave us a 3 minute Critch interview and that was it,didnt even bother talking about us. They instead spoke about Barnsley.. for a good five ten minutes straight after the interview and then onto Morecambe after giving the previous two hours to the dingles,Rovers and the scum. Week we played West Brom,again nothing coverage.Instead they decided to talk about West Broms start to the season for fifteen minutes. Listening now,ive head no coverage yet and we are eight minutes from kick off. They just arent interested in covering Blackpool FC.Lazy thrown together production week after week,no research,fillers with interviews to save their lazy arses.They should get rid of this lot and put some younger people in there the podcast generation at least they can create listening content.

You obviously forget to mention the live commentary every single game, managers interview put online an hour after a game for you to listen to , the Monday review etc.
They also have 7 league clubs to cover plus 2 decent non league ones. They do a great job .
