Radiohead 1997

Was lucky enough to watch all theses sets live, brilliant times. Pulp in 95 and I think Johnny Cash in the same year was a pleasure to see.

I shouldn’t have laughed but i did. I said to my wife he’ll be walking around Waitrose in Oxford tomorrow and no one will recognise him. She said they will , he’s got a lazy eye!

Immense.

Yorke was burnt out at this point and nearly walked off stage halfway through as he was done with it, the whole band were running on empty.

I didn't know that either, which makes the performance even more remarkable.

Watching REM now and I have seen it before and thought then that they put quite a few fillers in their set when they cold have just played back to ack classics, which is what Glastonbury is all about.

Not a patch on Radiohead, quite boring imo, but I just don't like them.

REM have always done as they pleased. Just disappeared a few years ago leaving a brilliant legacy.

Fun Lovin' Criminals on now followed by Underworld 👍
