Rate Critchileys first season so far.

NC has never managed a league team before as in any new job you have to factor in a learning curve.
A 6 out of 10 from me and do better next year!
 
The first dozen or so he'd get 2/10. We were awful and he looked like a complete fraud.

The next dozen 7/10. We've played most of the top half and had some notable wins against Peterborough, Hull and Portsmouth. Plus a decent FA Cup run with good performances against West Brom and Brighton.

Overall I'd give him 5/10. There are signs of improvement but he still makes decisions that baffle me. His general use of subs is poor.
 
Anyone else feel it's hard to judge because we've not been there. I like to see a Manager 'in action' on the touchline and see all the stuff the TV cameras don't show us. I miss that about not being at games. Away from that he's not torn up the trees and it's a results business and so I'd say 5!

Only doing slightly better than Grayson with much better players.

However, there have been steady improvements from the squad as a whole throughout the season. Think we will be able to completely judge him by December of next season.

I still anit sure on him now ,but still back
first , he can’t name his first 11 , he keeps changing the team , full backs are a major concern , and up top is causing issues , not creating or scoring enough

I still worry on his lack of experience in the lower leagues of mens football , this isn’t child’s play
these leagues are unforgiving , this isn’t under 23 prem reserve league

I also question why , untill now , why he won’t buy experience players , is it paying wages , so are his hands tied , is it he can’t work with people over 23 , the signings we are getting are league 2 or players from our league who don’t get in there teams or have had major injuries or youngsters from lower league , but most are young players

you need experience in this league or at least paying championship wages on championship players if you want to go up

not sure pool will go up this season , there’s no consistency to the team in winning runs or picking the same team 3 times in a row

the question stands thou , if this was a more experienced coach or manger , would this squad of players and team be higher in our league ????
 
I don't think you can really judge after this season - we'll never have such a bizarre season again.
