At the bargain price of £20 you’d hope we’d be taking 10 coach’s downI've just booked. The guy on the phone said there will be 3 coaches parked outside the west when I asked where the coach picked up.
You meeting up with your brother? At the bargain price of £20 you’d hope we’d be taking 10 coach’s down
I suspect the club have capped it to 3 coaches. Trying to sort coaches in less than a week won't be easy either. At the bargain price of £20 you’d hope we’d be taking 10 coach’s down
Staying with him Friday to Sunday. Could be a great weekend! You meeting up with your brother?
And khaki blazer with leather elbow patches. Can’t make out your Clarke Commando shoes thoughAnyone else spotted themselves?
I'm the one in the Tangerine hat.

As long as they've enough drivers available.ToryCorner posted earlier that the coach firm (AVA) has had their full fleet of coaches booked by the club for next sunday..
Exactly ! On reflection it isn't worth it.Price and value are 2 different things. If you want cheap beer, head to a Wetherspoons.
I know the club aren’t so great with the coaches, but booking them for a day after the match is pushing it a bit .ToryCorner posted earlier that the coach firm (AVA) has had their full fleet of coaches booked by the club for next sunday..
Each to their own, I'm happy to pay more to have a nice setting. If price is the only determining factor, I'd probably just stay at home.Exactly ! On reflection it isn't worth it.
my ex mortgage company are in the same town as Fuhjitsu. Bracknell. is that anywhere near. i detest them . the mortgage company. . piss through their letterbox on the way down.We all know Reading is the most boring town in the country, so if anyone is considering making a weekend of it, Pangbourne, just outside is very nice indeed.
Hope they haven't booked them for Sunday!!!ToryCorner posted earlier that the coach firm (AVA) has had their full fleet of coaches booked by the club for next sunday..

You were obviously AWOL in Portugal so missed the photo! And khaki blazer with leather elbow patches. Can’t make out your Clarke Commando shoes though
Holds 24k average home gates 13,670It's a massive ground that is never anywhere near full. Surely more tickets will go on sale.
YesCan you book tickets and coach at the same time please?
Where Is that - The Newbury, Catherine wheel, KC ?Nice pub , but you pay for it. There are other establishments in the town far better value.
That's Vegas pool and me just on the left next to the corner flag
The away section at Reading holds 3,000, it won’t be an issueWe better get more. If we don't the decision to sell to any season ticket holder is outrageous
We have been to nearly every away game this season and now have to sweat on Readings decision to award more or not.
Maybe their police know how to police a football match.Hope Reading tell us no more. Tell us they need 2,500 empty seats as a segregation area.
The KC was my local and is a great pub. The Newbury keeps failing even though it is a nice place. The Catherine Wheel is worth it for the pies. The Globe (formerly Snooty Fox) is my favourite because it's dog friendly and Colin who owns it is a superstar. If you like real ale the Cow & Cask is great, the owner is a big Reading fan also. LS&B has a great setting and when the sun is out a nice spot to enjoy a pint of ESB.Where Is that - The Newbury, Catherine wheel, KC ?
Great stuff - I do enjoy The Lion but as you say - the LSB on a sunny afternoon must be on of the best pubs ever - peroni is £6.80 now though - Come on the poolThe KC was my local and is a great pub. To be fair, if you book a self drive for a Saturday, they charge you for the full weekend. Robbing gits.I know the club aren’t so great with the coaches, but booking them for a day after the match is pushing it a bit .
Whereabouts do you live? My apartment overlooked the canal, then I moved near the race course and ended up on Valley Road on the south side of Newbs. The only time I saw any tangerine was before the various play off finals.Great stuff - I do enjoy The Lion but as you say - the LSB on a sunny afternoon must be on of the best pubs ever - peroni is £6.80 now though - Come on the pool
I paid for a 1st class stamp so it better be....Are tickets being posted or will I need to collect from reading ticket office do we know ?

Must have missed that was it on BFC X?Club announced tickets received from Reading yesterday afternoon.
They are lucky the club are subsiding the coaches.yet still people moaning
The helpful young lad in the ticket office reckons our following on Saturday will eclipse the infamous Barnet attendance!Does anyone know how ticket sales are going?
great stuff . not going myself but helpful . its a bang on desmond. tutu. both teams live to fight another day. how is the ownersship at reading affecting the team.Afternoon. The away allocation for at least the last five years has been around 2300. This season they have increased this to 2900, by opening a section in the upper west in addition to the half of the south stand already in place. Not many takers for that many.
As someone else mentioned elsewhere, currently expecting around 17-18k including an estimate of 1500 of your boys and girls. Nothing to play for, but just happy to have got through this season.
The 3 guineas is a pub by the station normally allocated to away fans. A few other decent ones in the town centre, a couple of camra ones for the real ale fans.
Two options are the F1 bus from the station, right and down the hill. Alternatively a train to Reading Green Park. £3:30 return with trains heading towards Basingstoke going 7mins past the hour every 30 mins. It is a mile from the ground.
There is a fanzone area behind East stand open to all for food and drink. Not normally any bother, except the odd derby games.
Have a safe trip down. Be happy with a draw if it meant Oxford missed out.
OH NO NOT BARNET away. legendary away game. never went but know twenty who did allegdlyThe helpful young lad in the ticket office reckons our following on Saturday will eclipse the infamous Barnet attendance!
Yo do know there was a million there that day.The helpful young lad in the ticket office reckons our following on Saturday will eclipse the infamous Barnet attendance!
Just received mine through the post..Roll on SaturdayAre tickets being posted or will I need to collect from reading ticket office do we know ?
Does that make you feel at home GazI was passing the ground at about half3 this afto so, having not seen any update on the official site/app since Monday, I popped in to check when the new allocation was arriving.
The lads said they were on sale now and about 1500 had been sold, so that's approx 700 on top of the original allocation.
I asked why the official site hadn't been updated to say more tickets are now on sale and their reply was "hasn't it" ...
Anyhow, I bought three tickets (senior + adult + young adult) that cost a total of £57 because "they're in the Upper Tier" which were originally stated to cost £51
I don't care about the 6 extra quid but, having got home and inspected the tickets, they're in the West Stand whereas the South Stand is for away fans according to the stadium layout!
WTF is goin' on?!
Obviously we're all gonna be in the same ground, but is anybody else in the same boat as me?
