Reading pitch invasion / disruption

Is this still a potential issue for Saturday? Recall this game was being earmarked to be disrupted due to ownership issues, but not heard or seen much more recently?

I wouldn't have any issue if they did. Been there and it's not nice for the supporters.

I'd expect the ground to be cleared and the game finished behind closed doors.

Looks like a big crowd according to their forum.

Seems very likely.

We're heading in the direction of 18k+ home fans, plus Blackpool sold their initial 797 allocation by Sunday. They'll end up bring around 1,500 minimum as they've still got something to play for.

In terms of home tickets, I have us having sold 13,247 (excluding hospitality and disabled); that would already be the seventh highest crowd this season (in terms of home fans). I estimate our ticket sales usually jump about 40% between the start of Monday and a Saturday match*- that sort of rise would put us at 18,500 home tickets sold.

The current situation is: Club 1871 has sold out; the East Stand blocks between Y21 and Y25 (inclusive) are all 85%+ sold; the Lower West blocks between G5 and G8 (inclusive) are all 95%+ sold; the Upper West blocks between GU4 and GU8 are all 90%+ sold; most of the hospitality places have sold out (the area surrounding the director's box).

*That increase will partially be down to hospitality and disabled seats being included in the final total.
