I wouldn't blame him. It'll just end up as a witch hunt. Let the season on fold then have a meeting early in the summer. As owner he needs to start planning for L1 and how he can stop the rot to give us a fighting chance of bouncing back.

I agree with the sentiment - and I also believe our current situation stems from the top of the club in that we have poor advisors to an owner unable (or willing) to keep stumping up the cash required to operate effectively at this level. Unfortunately I suspect we will be told that we got into the Championship faster than SS expected and on the back of reduced gate receipts after Covid. So in terms of planning this has not worked.

however the opportunity was presented to us and I think not enough has been done to grasp it. If any of the top brass at the club think we’ll bounce straight back from L1 they are being naive as we know how tough it is getting out. There’s an expression about losing a ship for a ha’peth of tar and it’s easy to say when it’s not your money, but that’s what it feels like here.

You are the classic hollier than thou imbecile who only thinks people should have an opinion so long as it agrees with yours. Let the adults have the conversations and discuss all the sides. Oh and add insults in too. Classy.

Getting mick was wrong , in his hey day he was good , but today’s manager with these current players , you need a younger ex player ,
who has that connection with players , difference style , think mick is trying to stop us losing , where we need to win matches , even if it’s 4.3
yes our defence is poor , got to be more postive ,this team look scared and void of ideas

Get off your arse and support the club and SS, instead of calling for his head. Fuck me after decades of the O’s I’d take yo yoying between lge1 and the championship for a while. Rome wasn’t built in a day. But you’d rather sit on your arse behind your keyboard moaning.

I already know why it's gone badly, I don't need Sadler or Mansford to tell me that. I'm more interested in what they intend to do in the summer to give us a chance of bouncing back and not repeating the same mistakes. If they want to sell season tickets they'll need to spend and rebuild and appoint a manager that can unite us all again. This all started when we made the decision to appoint Appleton, for that alone Mansford should be sacked.

I work on Saturdays, which is none of your business and live 250 miles away. I bought a season ticket last season. If you can't see the problems then there's nothing I can do about it, but your solution means nothing and I'll live my life how I want to thank you.

Oh yeah we're shocking, but with results meaning we're no worse off, bar a game down, it's not over yet.

But it'll take one hell of a turnaround which does look ridiculously improbable.

I'd have been happy with him from the start, as at least we wouldn't have wasted many of the games until now with silly formations and tactics.

All we really needed was a new guy in to lift the team, play with fans behind us and a bit more steel in midfield.

That was out best shot.

Listen, we are all supporters, we all have different views especially when things are bad. I'm not saying I'm right, it's just my opinion as your's is yours. There's no need to get personal, but I understand tensions are running high and people say things they wouldn't normally. I have watched hundreds of Pool games all over the country for decades when I have been able to. Just because I don't go to many games now doesn't make my opinion any less valid. no one supporter is better than another. We all want us to do well and at the moment it's shite.

Essentially the failure to sort midfield has been massive. To some extent the managers tried - thinking Stewart, Bridcutt, TT, and few others. Blighted by injuries. But buying crocks never works. A major factor in our decline, and blind man could've seen the issues.

Well you won’t finish bottom having watched Wigan today .

By far the worse away team at deepdale all season .

We played for 5 second half minutes and it was enough to scrape a win.

Really poor team.

They are gone. Two places left.

Not looking good but it’s 2 from 4 to join Wigan for me.

If we do get relegated,which is looking extremely likely,it will take years to get back up again,much bigger clubs than us in there.

There was the last time we got promoted. With the right manager and sensible investment, I don't see any reason why we can't bounce back. For that to happen we absolutely need to be identifying a manager that will galvanise the whole club. It can't be another damp squib or journeyman. Then we need our Coventry duo to come up trumps with 5 or 6 quality additions. It's a mess, I hope it's the end of Mansford at the club also, I just don't see how we can move forward when there is such ill feeling towards him.

Absolute garbage - whilst we weren’t Brazil over 90 mins we were the better team

The goals we gifted away cost us the match

2nd half they had 2 shots and one a pen whi h wasn’t one !
