Surely match will be abandoned. Pitch invasion and sit in since about the 2nd minute. Floodlights now switched off.

if you want to be 100% selfish about it, we want them to carry on playing ; them being thrown out and record expunged would do us no favours. Top eight would look like this :

Played Points GD
1. Bolton. 23 51 22
2. Pompey 26 50 16
3. Derby 25 49 23
4. Peterborough 24 48 23
5. Oxford 25 48 15
6. Stevenage 25 46 15
7. Barnsley 24 43 17
8. Blackpool 26 39 9

Good on them. They’re the only club (apart from us) who have had the balls (pardon the pun) to do this.
If they’re still going strong in April I’d back them when we visit Pride Park.

Will they get any of the following
Points awarded to port vale or match replayed ?
Points deduction?
Hefty fine ?
Behind closed doors games ?
Think they’ll get a heavy punishment this time around as most games they’ve played this season have been halted at some point through the games with tennis ball protests

I don't see any point in a further points deduction. The penalty need to be levied against the owner, not the club, and to be fair to the EFL they have been trying to find ways to do this.

My main worry is that they will run out of options, the bad faith behaviour will continue and the EFL will eventually feel they need to expel the club.

Ah, my mistake. Meant the Madjeski. I was thinking back to the time that Derby were supportive towards us back in the dark years
It’s not the Madjeski. It’s the Select Car Leasing Stadium - unfortunately. That company though has been helping to pay some of the staff wages

100% solidarity with Reading. I hope they get their club back under control and their bills get paid.
ANOTHER dodgy as eff owner. NO one should have their club used as a personal ATM. Dont know much about it but they are in deep s...t.

100% correct
The protest group came out yesterday after the protest and openly said this is just the start of things to come😯
Will the efl want to risk more things happening?
What would happen to the other 23 clubs in the league if the efl expelled them from the leagues?

Why are these major outlets so bad at reporting? Bolton tweeted it was a medical issue and the game has been abandoned.

Not sure where they reported it as crowd disorder? Matt Murray was on soccer Saturday reporting live from the game and had it as a medical emergency immediately it happened.

Well according to Jeff Stelling, Sky basically ignored events at Reading. What a pair them and the EFL.

Or continue the process of relegation through points deductions

Will the fans at the next away match (if there is one) do the same?
It might lead to major problems with the home fans.
However, will they have an away game soon or will the FA take punitive action?

I’ve every sympathy with their fans. Sadly, it’s going t be a long drawn out saga and they’re along way from a bounce back.
