After some advice - like to go to Madrid to take my son to watch a match . Has anyone here bought tickets before and where is the best place .
Thanks in advance

We bought our tickets in the uk
We watched Valencia v Real Madrid we paid £130 a ticket as we wanted to make sure we got tickets before we got there, as we thought it would be a sell out
Tickets was for sale on the day of the game for €35
This is the chance you take
Next time we go we will buy tickets at the ground and not in the uk

Forget El Classico they’re impossible to get unless on the black market. l have friends who are ST holders at Real and they couldn’t get us any!

Go to the ticket offices in Madrid and Santander. They'll be offices in the city centre rather than the FC. You'll be able to pick your seat.

No need to book from the UK. Keep your options open.

And if that fails, always outside. But beware those tickets will be in the Gods.

please dont pay silly prices in UK - unless it is Barca you will defo get tickets day before / day of the game ...

nobody in SPain pays £135 to wtach Real Madrid x Valencia etc

Isn’t it a bit of a risk after flights all paid etc
Never been to a European game

We went to the Bernabeu and bought them at the ticket office a few days before the game when we went, it was a while back mind. The stadium isn't that far out of the city centre.

Yes we was a bit naive but we didn’t want to take the risk of not getting tickets as everything was booked
But it was a great trip but know for next time

I'd be surprised if they sell out every game even while doing the ground up. Big games- AM, Barca yes

Have a look at the attendances.

There's always the 'Sod's Law' chance, but if you're there the day before I'd be amazed if you have a problem.

There are some RM stores in the centre where I'm certain you can get tickets. Of course you could do the ground tour the day before and buy at the stadium.

I can recommend the stadium tour if you can't get match tickets. To sit in the dug out, walk around the pitch, view the incredible trophy room, amongst other things is well worth the money.

I took my lad to a Barca, few year's back now, but yeah we did the stadium tour the day before the game and bought tickets at the ticket office, cheap aswell behind the goal , loads of empty seat's so just sat wherever we wanted.

Unless it's the clasico, or the Madrid derby, you'll get tickets a few days before the game at the stadium. Ask the hotel if they will get them they usually will. You shouldn't be paying 165 euros.
