Only 13 teams score more than us last season, we weren't terrible. We shared goals around and we will do similar this season. We want more goals obviously. I think Fiorini will add some, and I think Jerry may do better this time. Corbeanu could be another. The likes of Carey and Virtue should contribute from midfield, and Connelly, Marv etc from the back. Dead balls will hopefully be better.
But we are clearly looking to sign someone, with us bidding for Simms and Bishop and it makes sense to seek someone who can slot into the central striker role if we can find somebody better that we can afford. Naming people is random and pretty pointless, but the likes of Broadhead and Dobbin at Everton may be loan options? I'm sure there are similar options at City/United/Liverpool etc? Can Fiorini persuade a mate at City?! Or Williams/Liverpool?
