There will be many like me who have to travel a good way. Normally I would go but not in these conditions.
Public transport will be a problem too for night games.

A number of reasons...

- It's minus 4
- Doing dry Jan
- It's on tele
- We're usually garbage at home midweek
- It's only Forest - seen us beat them live a number of times so nothing new there
- Quick turnaround from work, so will have to have a crap tea or pie in the ground
- I'll be able to catch up on Traitors as soon as the final whistle goes, then watch Love Island

Respect to everyone that is going! I'll raise my brew to you later on from my nice warm front room!

My sister and her husband are obviously fair weather supporters, and won't be there tonight, even though they live not far from Victoria Hospital. I've already shamed them.😶‍🌫️👎

How come there's multiple threads asking why people aren't attending this game? I don't remember similar threads for the EFL Cup home games, or away to Barrow?
Away to Barrow in the EFL cup deserves a thread asking why people ARE going and a list of alternative hobbies

Do we have a large % of exiles supporting us compared to other clubs which is why games like this are not well supported?
Bristol City sold out their stadium for their match against West Ham, something they never do for a league match.

Because of who they were playing.simple as
If they’d been playing Eastleigh or Newport it would have been no where near sold out

It's on TV, it's bloody cold and the FA Cup doesn't have the same draw unless its against a local rival or a top Prem team but.......
Simon Sadler is ploughing his money into the club and deserves our support, the groundstaff have worked tirelessly getting the match on and we've just won 7 home games on the bounce.

I'll be there tonight, I don't have far to travel and the ones coming from further afield have my utmost respect and the least anyone living within a 10 mile radius can do is to get yourselves there tonight. UTMP.

I live in West Cumbria … 5-6 hrs return in decent weather. Already attended all the Jan home games and I want to attend the Charlton game.
I’m on a pension, so it is also more expensive than a normal month.
The League is more important, to me, than the FA Cup.
I will watch on TV.
The journey from West Cumbria to Penrith is a mission in itself !

Possibly the worst list of all time

see you there . camel coat hat . nw corner. brushed my teeth for the tv. 😀

Would love to be there but currently in Buriram on a work thing, don’t ask. Plus I’m trying to keep the new fiancé happy and she said she doesn’t want me to go

Where is the “I live a three hour train journey away and have already spent £60 on Bristol Rovers this Saturday” option?

Yeah but we didn’t win every home game 5-0 playing attacking football so clearly Crichley needs to go and the club is a clusterfuck.

Away with work.

Don’t be so quick to judge people. For some, £15 plus fuel is 2 or 3 days food shopping. A lot of people won't have been paid since before Christmas. A lot of people take their kids so its not just £15. There have been a lot of games recently and that will have hit fans in the pockets. Yes, if a big hitter was in town it would be a sellout but we all know a Man Utd or Liverpool fan don’t we.

£15 isn’t ‘only’ £15 when you’re two weeks from payday in January. It’s 3 or 4 decent meals.

Bought 2 tickets then found out I was on call.
Then my lad said he wasn't arsed anyway so gave them to my youngest daughter and her boyfriend.
I've just dropped them off at the Bloomfield pub.
I'm hoping they like it and go again 👍
