Referees who don’t give penalties

Just had a quick Google and apparently over the past 50 or so games Darren Bond gives one penalty every 10 games. Out of interest I looked at the same figure for Mike Dean an it was a penalty every 3 games.

Not very scientific I know but if refs were consistent, over a long period it should average out and the figures between referees should be roughly the same.

Hypothesis therefore football referees are inconsistent and different refs would give different decisions for the same incident. Think I am probably stating the obvious here

Referees are very consistent, none of them ever give us anything. That’s about as consistent as you can get.

Goes to show these things don't even out.
