Shit show of a season .

(i) Critchley leaves unexpectedly
(ii) No plan B for (i)
(iii) Poor transfer window due to (ii)
(iv) Appointment of Appleton & different style/plan
(v) Injuries decimate squad throughout season
(vi) 9 sendings off add to unavailable list
(vii) World cup break not used to change things managerially
(ix) Too many players clearly out of form for some reason or other
(x) McCarthy unable to change things around when brought in .

Yep, Rob Edwards was available for a number of weeks 😪

In hindsight, seeing how it’s all unfolded, we would have been better sticking with Appleton.

I’m convinced we would have at least 6 extra points at this stage.

I'm no fan of Appleton but Critchley had the bounce of a promotion and the surprise factor. Second season was always going to be a lot harder.
 
Only one needed - a clueless board (responsible for most on your list). Who have let the owner & supporters down big style.
They're even continuing to do so, by facilitating that fiasco in the week, not resigning & taking the manager with them.
SS must take decisive action tonight .... unless we score 4 without reply in the next 30 mins 🤣
 
Please not tonight, we are down. Stop reflect, bring in a new face or two who know about running a football club then reset and go again. Good luck with it Simon because you deserve it for the money you are putting in.
