Relegation pretty much confirmed

It was always a faint hope, but today just confirms what was quite likely really. The board can't make so many terrible mistakes in a short space of time and get away with it I'm afraid.

We've turned down strikers due to injury problems, and yet have all four of our strikers out injured now while the one we turned down has played and scored regularly this season, and played again today.
We had to suffer the embarrassment of a league one player choosing to stay at his club because it was a better offer. No other club experiences this kind of thing, it's just us. We've been searching for a midfielder for about two years and still haven't found one. What do our scouts do? Do we have any?

We've appointed two utterly abysmal managers. The first was exceptionally unpopular and the board knew this but did it anyway. I don't accept they were shocked by it, because they were told and they even acknowledged it. They then kept him on despite it not working, all the way through a transfer window only to sack him immediately afterwards. The second appointment was totally unsuited to our squad, absolutely zero thought put into it, and demonstrated a complete lack of knowledge of football.

We've had our sporting director sacked with no comment at all, but seemingly because he leaked the team against our local rivals.

We've allowed two fans, who don't represent the fanbase in any official capacity, access to the players. While I agreed with what he said, this is not how clubs should be operating. It's not normal.

It's been a total catastrophe of a season, and it's all been of our own making. That's the sad part. Our fans deserve better, much better.

If I were SS, I'd be relieving MM of his duties now - there is zero point in him staying. I'd be trying to get some football knowledge on the board as advisors, maybe those involved in the youth side like Dobbie, Connelly or similar because there needs to be someone there telling him straight about the managerial shortlist, from a position of experience. I'd then be getting the new man in asap, even before the seasons ended to give us a chance to hit the ground running next season.
I'd be putting an end to the cliquey nature of running the club that seems to have developed, and I'd be looking for someone who can provide better value for money than BM has been of late.

We need a reset, but I also think SS must re-assess the people he has around him. We can't afford to have another year of fuck ups like we've had this year otherwise we genuinely may find ourselves struggling in league two before we know it, such has been the magnitude of the errors made in the last 12 months.
