Tomorrow, irrespective of your current feelings towards the Head Coach and his tactics (particularly away from home) lets get behind the team and hopefully cheer them on to three points.

After everything we have been through, during the NAPM years and the climax of the Oystain era, lets have a lttle perspective.

HNY to you all and lets hope 2024 is a better year for the Mighty!

We can only get behind them if they can prove they are worth our support.

Not at all. It's a two way thing. The players react positively to positive encouragement and the crowd react positively to players giving it a go.

You're saying we shouldn't do anything until they score.
Give me strength!! Do I have to go I to detail exactly what I mean?

Thanks for telling everyone what to do. I'm sure they will all take notice.

I was at Port Vale and was as disappointed as anyone else. I was also disappointed with the booing at the end and giving the players the Vs. I didn't detect a lack of effort. This only adds pressure for the next game and not in a good way, reducing our chance of a positive result.

Also , if I was a player, it would reduce my respect for the Fans. They are only really behind us when we are winning and not supportive when we are struggling.

Yep giving the players the Vs at the end of game is really poor.
Doesn’t help one bit

I sit in the west and i don't think i'm an old fart (not yet anyway,) i must admit i do have one behind where i sit who hasn't got a clue and never stops moaning
Which is so depressing. I’ll leave early tomorrow if it gets ridiculously negative, can’t be doing with it.

Agreed. Support through thick and thin. Forget about the tactics: get behind the team when they need it the most. It’s easy to support when things are going well; the real test is during the tough times. The team needs the fans now more than ever. And if it is as sh*t as it has been so far this Xmas, give em both barrels after the game 😉

Will need your wits about you tomorrow, half cut, some pissed up and coked up fans abusing Critch and a bit of in fighting amongst our fans. Can see it being an entertaining day for all the wrong reasons.

People can do what they want I guess.

But it's a bit odd if grown men go to heckle our manager. A manager that did actually bring success, unlike some. Imagine being heckled by the 'forward' and 'keep the ball' guy.

Nothing wrong with encouraging people to support the team, it helps and makes it a better game to be at with atmosphere.
