My daughter is moving from ascot to cleveleys dur the week before Christmas. It’s a three bedroom house, probably something like three Luton’s and dismantling and assembling of some items required. She’s being quoted ridiculous prices, anyone know someone here who could help?

I recently moved and used Horsley’s in Fleetwood.
They dismantle anything you want them to furniture wise and re assemble it at the new property.
No one is cheap these days cost me £850 for 2 box vans but you might struggle getting them to go to Ascot and if you did it would be mega money.

You could probably add another £400-600 on top of that at least l would have thought

Try a firm called vanbay there on Facebook,might also have a website,used them before and very good

Just on my way to pick up a Luton for some stock move at work. Enterprise, £145 per day.. something to consider, those of us of advanced age can drive bigger small lorry on our licences, not costed recently ?

Looked at that, it’d probably take at least three trips and I’d need some muscle, not ruled it out yet thanks

We’ve used Horsleys several times, including moving here from Ascot, but this time they’re quoting £3,500, plus £350 to dismantle and reassemble wardrobes etc, and they’re the cheapest so far.
