Resenoir not appointment because…

Also why has Duff gone to Barnsley unless we didn't want him, seems odd to have a shortlist and discard someone like him in favor of Appleton who hasn't done much.

All very bizarre.

One things for sure, the clubs secret way of operating either isn't that secret, is too secret that people then insert complete bollox.

? ..how come , it’s pretty poor if we can’t poach a no.2 really in it…
We aren't poaching anybody, we do things correctly at Blackpool Football Club nowadays, and make official approaches to clubs. I don't really believe it will be Appleton, but I do believe it won't be Rosenior that becomes our manager, and not because of financial issues. I think there's somebody else lined up ...

A type of sink he's our next coach.🤣View attachment 11405
Sign him up he'll get us to the prem....

Now just....

No idea, what I'm saying is anyone involved in interviewing applicants has at some point made their minds up before the interviews are over. I've done it before they've started before now.
Very true. I’m actually doing interviews at the moment at my work just cos it’s the right thing to do. I know exactly who is getting the job though, and so do they.

The club may well have approached another manager already employed at another club. Neither you, I or the postman knows the first thing about what is happening, and nor should we until it's confirmed.

Absolutely, but you must give feedback to those not getting the role as they may belive they have done something wrong, when in fact there was nothing more they could have done 👍🏻

I'll be happy when all this shit is over.

It could be the club playing hard ball with Rosenior over terms. We'll interview someone who BM has a good relationship with and that shows Rosenior that we have other options making him reconsider his terms. I have no idea, grasping at straws here.

Yeah we don't know, but when you're apparently on track to sign what looks a promising guy, it's all but done apparently, then its not even been close or has it? It doesn't feel good to then get news someone now ones wants is being interviewed.

This end of week should have been positive with a new man and some announcements.

We do have a feel about us still and same with transfers of being very tough negotiators which is great but also we at times don't get some deals done.

How do you know who's been interviewed? How do you know any deal hasn't been close? Who has this information?

Appleton wouldn't have got through my paper sift, never mind 3 interviews.
Mind you neither would Tam O'Shanter, who everyone's raving about.

Pool are quite a hard nosed team when Kev and Kenny start, even more so when Callum starts as well. Appleton is hard nosed, but has good contacts, and worked wonders at Lincoln. I wouldn’t mind him at all, even if he isn’t everybody’s cup of tea.

That was the point of the first interview, maybe they thought his coaching methods wouldn't adapt to this level, maybe they didn't like the way he came across, whatever the reason they didn't think he was the right choice and didn't take it any further.

We don't know who's invited for a second interview, we don't know if that includes Appleton or not.

That or negotiating compo with Derby would be my guess too

Yes have already said it doesn't make sense, to me anyway. But not sure I believe it anyway.

It's OK Shannon, Tam has gone to Honved.

I couldn't tell you whether he was lured there by the challenge of the highly competitive Hungarian Super League or if he is just fond of goulash.
Hungarian Super League, old Tam will be in his element there. Beat Ujpest Doza and nick a draw with Ferncvaros and it's Champions League here we come, not to mention keeping up his 38% win rate.
I've heard he prefers the Czech Goulash with dumplings, he'll have come across a few in The Scottish Prem.

Hard case Rooney has threatened to nut him endlessly if he leaves County and if that doesn't work he will release his granny legionnaires stored away in his lock up to tie him down and do unspeakable things to his person till he complies.

Did he work wonders at Lincoln? I mean he took over a team built by the Cowley Brothers and a club on the up, had 1 decent season, followed by almost relegation. Zero promotions and left them lower down the league than when he took over, I wouldn't describe that as wonders, quite the opposite.
