Revoe project - planning withdrawn

Looks like planning for the all weather pitches and car parking has been withdrawn. Nothing about the stand though, hopefully just an amendment as Neil said.
 
The existing application will have been withdrawn to replaced by a completely new application to reflect the latest agreement between club and council for the much bigger development for the area to reflect also the allocation of funding.
 
That looks like the very first application for the full size astroturf pitch, muga and smaller artificial pitches. There’s since been an updated proposal put forward for a full size grass pitch and artificial pitches with parking to the other side of the pitches than these plans allow.

Also the club are expecting to put in another plan for the East literally any day now - the design for which could also necessitate the complete change of phase 1 - so it’s not something hugely concerning.

Less than a month ago SS confirmed this is happening and confirmed the money is there. The council confirmed it’s happening.

Just chill - it’s happening

Isn't that a withdrawal of older plans?

The new plans don't have that number of pitches.

Yep and the one in the op is from 2021.

The newer one you post was done just before Xmas.

There may be further ones as actual east plans come online as you say. All makes sense to me.

Or after we stay up by the skin of our teeth ?

Whatever they do there’s gonna be criticism and we’re always gonna be suspicious as fans. But the reality is as a business if they’ve got something exciting to share then they’re gonna look to share it at an optimal time.
Personally I don’t have a problem with that. I’m confident the developments are taking place and if the club want to use any associated announcements to try increase tickets / merchandise sales then so be it.
 
Reading the minutes from the recent fans meeting it sounded like SS didn't know what capacity of stand would be - so taking from that there could be a knock on effect to surrounding development.
