From the players' father , Pool are showing strong interest in a season long loan for this 6ft 4 inch 19 year old centre back from Liverpool. Played on loan at Kidderminster last season , highly rated at Anfield and played for their U23 team.

From a quick bit of google research;

• Originally from Preston, so a local lad.

• only 19 but playing for their under 23’s regularly.

• Very well though of by Kidderminster, although who knows wether he can step up or not.

• Seems a tall lad, described as a “commanding defender”

• His agent represents many of the biggest young talents in Europe - “stellar football ltd”

• likes to play with the ball at his feet.

The article below is a good read if it comes off.

Wonder if we’re looking for a loan deal or permanent 🤔

I taught Reece back when he was in high school, back in my teaching days. Christ seems like a life time ago now only 5 years ago.

Really talented lad both sporting and academically. No heirs or graces about him a really level headed lad from a good family, which was a rare thing at that school. From Nobber land but we can’t all be perfect hey.

was a tall lad back then, I saw him again last year and he’s massive, just needs to fill out.

I’d have to say, I wouldn’t have thought he was ready for League 1 football, but if Critchley thinks so I’d be happy with that.

Had that little touch of arrogance about him as he knew he was head and shoulders above the rest of the team, what you need to make it as a pro I think.

Out of interest where has his dad said it?

Bit young for a centre half first teamer maybe?

Somewhat agree, although it’d be nice to have some up and coming talent in that area of the pitch; if they’re not quite good enough play them in the cup and sporadically in the first team while they develop (assuming we’re after him permanently)

Was mentioned on @SeasidersPodcast when they had the Liverpool guy on. Read somewhere that Liverpool were highly impressed by the change they’d seen since he’d been out playing men’s football. Big leap, but he is highly rated.

Sorry to pull you up teacher but it’s “ airs and graces” not “ heirs and graces”.

Sorry to pull you up but you have to reply to a comment underneath the Quotesign for it to come up as it’s own message. 😜

Bispham, to a friend in Fulwood, hope the post does not land him in trouble, there are other options for the lad mind. You would hope Liverpool would trust our management with him more than other teams? Maybe down to whether he will see enough 1st team action with Pool with expected more experienced signings , but would make good cover from the bench and games will be thick and fast this coming season so more injuries and suspensions likely.
I wonder whether Neil Critchley will be in touch with his old colleague Steven Gerrard at Rangers? They have quite a large squad, one player I think would suit perfectly is Greg Docherty an energetic, competitive but creative midfielder who did well on loan at Hibs last season and Shrewsbury in L1 a while back .
