Poor summer of recruitment last season and another one this season.
No clear strategy, lose our best players, obsess about development players, very short up front and way too many midfielders.

Yeah Critch is to blame for some of that and his formations have been an accident waiting to happen but different Chief Execs, Sporting Directors and Managers .. the only constant seems to be the owner.
 
I think you go on most fan's forums and there will be similar accusations. I think everything off the pitch has maybe distracted Simon - let's hope there's plenty of phone numbers for our management team to call this week.

Obsess about development players…..who we never seem to develop to be anywhere near the first team !!

Agree with the first paragraph (my anyone but the Oystons philosophy means I won't jump on board with the latter) but not to have addressed those gaping holes has been unforgivable. We do seem as a club to always have too many midfielders - long as I can remember.

Too many bang average midfielders, Norburn excepted although he had a mare yesterday.

No idea unless he puts it up for sale Mosser. He has a lot of ideas, I'll give him that but they don't seem to include giving us a promotion challenging team.

That's a fair point, and I don't think anyone can criticise his infrastructure work, is ideas for the ground and the club or his heart. It's just that he seems to have continual brain farts when it comes to appointing managers, and possibly the funding of players, or at least the right players and to be fair he employs experts to find these players. He has lots of good points but he has some troubling flaws too.
