RIP golfs No1 starter

Ivor Robson, the voice on the 1st tee at all golfing events on the European tour, most notably the Open championship from 1975 for 41 years sadly passed away on the 17th oct.

There would probably have been a time when I'd have said you can't be the best golf starter but he certainly was the best.

As MAC says, "On the tee...........", that's the first thing I thought when I heard the sad news.
