Yes, I’ve seen him play a few times now and the lad certainly has quality, I was surprised he didn’t make an appearance yesterday!

A cover player has to be able to step into the shoes of the first choice, unless he can do Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday potentially for up to 3 months, he's not ready, and we need somebody who is.

Good article though and it was interesting (to me anyway) that Will Squires made the squad.
Your next task is to find out where the remaining members of the "development" squad are training, Mariette, Trusty, Moore, Bange, Strawn, Daniels (may still be with the u/18s) and the new boy Hughes (if he's with us yet). Not sure I've seen many of them in pre-season videos.
I guess at least some of them will make an appearance on Tuesday night but don't think I will be there so I'll look forward to your report.

He looked very very comfortable on the ball and had a good pass. He kinda reminded me of Foden (although not his calibre but still he looked accomplished).
We’ve been waiting so long to get a youth team player step up over time to the first team, now it looks like we could have a few players of that calibre soon. Can’t beat a homegrown talent playing for the club he’s been with for years.
