Robert Snodgrass

I'm sure there are other players of his ilk who are available still. I don't think we need to panic though, as it stands we have Dougall, Connolly, Robson and Stewart. If we had to recall Antwi I'd have no issues. Hopefully James, Husband, Keshi, Carey and Virtue will all return to play a part this season also.

I thought Antwi had ended his loan and was back with us anyway but may be wrong.

You could be right, it hasn't been easy keeping track of all the different loans our youth players have been on this season. 😬
It would be a nice initiative to keep track of them, IDK, with a thread or something?
I reckon the loans are used following a plan, and some of the lads seem like could make at least decent rotation players in the next year or two
I'm in if it's to watch some yt highlights and scrape the social media for news of some of the lads

Dan Crowley (24) is a player that's lost his way big time from a good start as a young lad at Villa and Arsenal.
An attacking midfielder that Critch could work his magic on ⚽
This is more like the sort of signing we are likely to look at. Potential.

Main issue with the players available on a free is the wages. Players at current Championship clubs would have been on a minimum of £10k per week and probably multiples thereof. You then either have to convince the ego to take a hefty cut or upset your established hierarchy.

A couple of veterans like Keogh who accept that it’s about playing now and not money is fine, but I feel we are better served with recruiting academy players and more importantly players from divisions below who are excited about the chance we offer

I’d be delighted if we signed Snodgrass, was playing premier league football last year and probably has something left in the tank, similar to Keogh, as long as he’s fit and still has the drive.

I’m not sure if he’s a good lad or not but if he’s good around the place and he’s affordable why not? We’ve said many times we lack a quality final ball, he has that and a great set piece delivery and he’s a sweaty so he probably loves Blackpool.

Has there been any rumours or is it just speculation on Snodgrass.
Another thread has come up on him.
Looked on twitter.
Released by Albion and apparently talking to a championship side and a league one side. No details and nothing more than that from what I can see.
Not sure he'd add anything to us, and he's been released for a reason. League one makes more sense.
