Robson

Yep, it was actually quite sad to see him go down - you could tell it wasn't just physical pain on his face he was absolutely gutted realising he needed to go off. He was out injured for ages and lost his spot, finally gets it back and starts his 2nd game in a row and gets injured, devastating.

We know Kaikai is basically okay as he was gonna play today but they didn't risk him as he didn't feel 100% in the warmup. Anderson was back today which is amazing.

We just need news on:
- Robson
- Ward
- Stewart (wasn't in squad today)
- Madine
 
I noticed Robson got caught twice in a few seconds. The first was an arm I think across his chest which caused him to turn his back on play & then got caught again in a tackle. Not certain which incident led him to go off.
 
The kid needed a break. Despite his clear role as a defensive midfielder, he was superb in a more advanced role at Sunderland. He is not gifted with pace but showed he could find space to play in.
 
That was all due to the pitch (as I think was their skipper going off early)

you expect hard pitches but that was a deliberate concrete one - the ref should have forced them to basically flood it hours before k off

you don’t dend pro sportsmen out to ruin their libpvelihoods on surfaces like that - ridiculous

I actually think that’s why Kai Kai was withdrawn (or at least I hope so !)
