Ran onto the pitch as Accy player was about to take a penalty, kicked the ball away off the pen spot and knocked into the Accy pen taker and sprinted to the halfway line before being marched off. Accy missed the pen to square the match! Apparently theres been a few incidents recently with Rotherham fans on the pitch the club could be in serious trouble here!
 
A Leicester family ran on today against forest and steamed into the whole forest team.
Makes someone throwing a lighter onto the pitch a Bloomfield rd seem like nothing now, what would make anyone want to do that is just crazy.

It’s not been a good weekend with these 2 serious incidents and the alleged racist incident at Morecambe yesterday!

Our support in the North have no room to talk about anyone.

I predicted a few months ago incidents with goalscorers were only a matter of time. Players have been getting more and more brazen goading opposition fans in recent times so it was bound to result in an idiot reacting.

Third game running there has been someone on the pitch.

Arrested by South Yorks police and permanently banned from Rotherham matches.

Edit: two of them, apparently.

Idiotic acts like that can be nipped in the bud quite easily.
Simply award a penalty goal without it having to be taken.
Can you imagine the reaction if the muppet who does it evades the steward and gets back to the “safety” of his fellow supporters.
Just to add, they should be banned for life for attending any football match. Although that would be difficult to enforce at away games that were POTG.

That was a particularly poor moment when a fella out of the south lumbered over the advertising hoardings to give that Fleetwood lad who'd run on the pitch a clout. Bonkers, no need.

Two wrongs don't make a right but had the little scrote not been on the pitch in the first place it wouldn't have happened.
Oh, and that was in the South.
 
I know one of the 'Mitchell brothers' from the Cods game, it wasn't a simple case of running on and giving the lad a smack, there was a lot more too it.

The Fleetwood lad had been pointing at him, then pointing towards his pocket, then doing slit throat gestures. 10 minutes later the same lad is running around on the pitch giving 'come on' gestures to the stands, the Blackpool lad was at the front of the stand telling the stewards this but they didn't take a blind bit of notice...... it was only when the Cod head was running towards him that he ran on and gave him a crack, baring in mind he had reason to believe the lad was carrying a weapon, which for the record he was, 3 infact.
 
Sadly I think that this sort of thing is on the rise again, and I think that it will result in getting more professional and unfriendly stewards, which will annoy a few people. Stewards should not let this happen and if they were more professional, rather than gifted amateurs then they would spend more time spotting potential flashpoints. sadly this will mean more officious and more stronghanded stewarding.

I look at a lot of our stewards and they look like they are nice people but couldn't handle anyone of any size/strength entering the pitch. Unfortunately the only way forward is to pay more and employ some strength and properly trained security.

Rotherham could have told their goalie not to make any effort to save the pen/ stand by a post leaving the whole goal for the taker to aim at. Would be a shocker if he missed though⚽️

Surely you'd plant a few of your fans in the opposition end if it was that easy to get penalties awarded!

Coleman should have changed the Penalty taker after the incident.
Too much on the takers mind perhaps?
 
Those 2 little Rotherham toe rags who ran on the pitch have been banned for life by the club, wonder if they think it was all worth it?🤔🤡
