We played that pre season game against Leeds there. Not the easiest to get to.Rugby fans will be properly pissed off with this decision and who doesn't like to come to the GC for a long weekend no matter what the sport. York is a lovely place to visit but will be very expensive at that time for accommodation but not only that the ground is about 10 miles outside the city!

Is it still the Kit Kat Stadium? Two fingers up to us then!!Next year it will be played in York.
Yes let’s not have Blackpool FC be accused of doing anything positive for the community by helping bring visitors in, full hotel rooms etc.Good no concerts or poxy rugby on the pitch until we can afford one of those hybrid ones.
Not at the cost of ** up the pitch afterYes let’s not have Blackpool FC be accused of doing anything positive for the community by helping bring visitors in, full hotel rooms etc.
And of course you’ll be finding the money the club will lose from being open only 23 times a year?
Pitch seems to have handled the workload ok the last couple of years. Rugby brings in a completely different crowd to Lytham proms as well. Not at the cost of ** up the pitch after
all these events we've been here before.
Concerts Lytham 20,000 a day for four days Rebellion, comedy carpet for Dance music etc.
So missing out on one event which brings in a few thousand whilst letting the grass rest at BR so we're not playing on a mud heap by December will do for me.
We've relaid it every summer since Sadler has been here and had no events on it what do you want the Rugby league boys to wear slippers.Pitch seems to have handled the workload ok the last couple of years. Rugby brings in a completely different crowd to Lytham proms as well.
