Run for mum

Had the sad news today a friend and neighbour is now in need of this wonderful service , so thought it worth bumping this . Thank you.

A brilliant organisation, such a big help and support to my friend who has recently died. Everything from holding her hand when she cried to sorting benefits and legals. Added to our list of charities along with the hospice.

Dig deep, folks, you never know when you might need them, my friend was only 40.
 
I’m so sorry to hear about your wife’s diagnosis and really hope that she’s faring well (and you too) and coping with her treatment. Ovarian is known as the ‘silent’ cancer but thankfully now, GPs are more aware of the signs and symptoms. Sadly, my mum died from it in 2016 as it was stage 4 at diagnosis. The Macmillan nurses though were brilliant with both she and my brother, enabling me to look after them both at home.

You must be incredibly proud of your daughter!! Have made a donation and wish her lots of luck..🧡

So sorry to hear of your friends passing. The significance of so many organisations during the most traumatic of times can never be overstated.

Sad to hear this disease has taken its toll on your family. Being aware and acting early are key components is combating it and great strides continue to be made in this direction,as you say.
I’m incredibly proud and, quite frankly, humbled by their determination and courage.
