I think Simon Saddler and the board have been in too much of a rush to appoint a new manager!

They should have took a bit more time and just got the best man for the job?
 
Feels like they needed to appoint before Monday training maybe. And then hand out a 4 year contract. Let's hop it's not a costly mistake. What chance he'll be with us in 4 years time though? Close to zero I think. If we are struggling at Xmas there will be big unrest and pressure to get rid. Even earlier. Critch was getting heavy shit after a few games. Appointing someone unpopular for 4 years may come back to haunt Sadler.

Are Brunskill and Garrity staying? What's the script?

What does 'struggling at Xmas' look like?

The moment Critchley left we were in a relegation battle. We'll almost certainly finish in the bottom third and lose more games than we win. Realistic expectations required.

The fans will be the judge of that. I don't tend to get on managers' backs. Quite a few fans do seem to have unrealistic expectations. A sizeable minority.
 
At least the Critchley compensation money will boost the transfer kitty along with any outgoings like Bowler and perhaps Gabriel. Also, having worked with Morgan Rogers at Lincoln we should be a leading contender to get him on a seasons long loan.
 
Well, aggressive forward thinking football sounds better than pass it around the back for 5 mins then let the keeper hoof it football.
I believe MA will do well for us. Looking forward to the new season. UTMP
