Russian Missile hits Poland

Putin the dirty rat is striking because one of representatives got a bollocking at today's conference.
If it's a Russian missile striking Poland, then this could well be the tipping point for all out defence attack by NATO countries.
This needs bringing to an end ASAP by Putin peacefully surrendering.

I don’t think NATO will do nothing, even if this is an accidental strike on Poland.

I would like to think there is a plan of action already in place and ready to activate for something like this.
Not an overreaction. But a suitable reaction.

Call it coincidence but the company i work for has put a world wide emergency response system in place for all staff over the last week. Test emails came out 2 days ago! do they know something we don't ?

Sounds like a stray though unfortunate for those who have perished. In WW2 the US bombed Switzerland and also their own and Allied troops by mistake on several occasions. The Luftwaffe bombed Southern Ireland in error as well.

Hope the response is more measured than his authorised murder in Salisbury.
He has got away with so much over the years he probably thinks he is bulletproof

I might be wrong, but it doesn’t feel as if NATO have been eagerly awaiting a mistake like and are ‘ready to pounce’.
We can only wait and see what happens now.

If you believe that then I reckon you are more like glass half empty.
i very much doubt NATO wants conflict but it exists to respond if the likes of Putin decides he can go too far…and that means attacking a NATO member.

A similar incident happened during Battle of Britain in 1940.
German bomber lost its way and accidentally dropped bombs on London.
In retaliation Britain bombed Berlin. Although little success, this infuriated Hitler and he changed Policy to bomb all U.K. major cities. This saved us from certain defeat.

Appears unlikely it was a Russian missile. Whilst good news for the rest of us it’s still tragic for the 2 people who died and still entirely Russia’s fault.

I’m not a military expert and I’ve no idea how but hopefully this incident might somehow speed up the end of Putins war.

99.9% a Ukrainian missile.

I’ve been watching the BBC news for an hour now and it’s never even been mentioned if it had been a Russian missile it would be the complete opposite.

BBC had a reporter in Krakow last night who described the city as ‘just a few miles’ from where this incident occurred. Krakow is 160 miles from the closest border with Ukraine and over 200 miles from this incident.

I’m not one to knock the BBC but there is no need for stretching the truth.

Zelensky denying it has anything to do with Ukrainian missile systems.
Well I suppose he would wouldn’t he, but could this just be an easy cop out for Biden and Nato?

PS Actually looks like it probably was a Ukrainian missile though not ultimately obviously due to a cause of their own making.

Looks to me as if this could be an attempt to whitewash what really happened, Poland now say the missile was a 1970s made Russian weapon, but fired by Ukraines air defence systems. Well it could be, or it could be pressure from the west to avoid escalation.
