Indisciplined Russian troops drinking on the front line and killing unarmed civilians. A disgrace to humanity.
Then burning the bodies to try and hide all evidence.Indisciplined Russian troops drinking on the front line and killing unarmed civilians. A disgrace to humanity.
Agree.Sounds like the Russian troops are not so against this war as some have made out.
It’s also a bit rich linking the situation in Ukraine with Brexit.... considering how much stick Boris took for so doingIt’s a bit rich calling the Russians thick, when so many in the UK fell for the Russian sponsored anti-EU propaganda.
Yes, I fully expect Ukraine to be an albatross around Putin's neck.Good luck in holding any part of that country in the future. The hatred will run so deep that it will be a lawless hell for decades if it is partitioned in any way.
Any Ukrainians with Russian sympathies that have experienced the attack on the south east of the country will have had their world destroyed and sympathy will have gone.
Very true...as an Island nation that has put such divisions behind us centuries ago,it’s difficult for us to actually comprehend. However the people’s of Northern and Southern Ireland will have much greater understanding.Good luck in holding any part of that country in the future. The hatred will run so deep that it will be a lawless hell for decades if it is partitioned in any way.

I hope it squeezes tightlyYes, I fully expect Ukraine to be an albatross around Putin's neck.
I could secure your hands behind your back with a piece of ripped sheets.I have to say you could argue this picture looks a bit dodgy. The guy has his hands tied with cloth, legs aren’t tied, there’s no evidence of blood either. They need to do better than this if they want to stop Russia denying atrocities.
Unfortunately, yes. They're also indoctrinated and scared. It beggars belief that the Russian people believe Putin, are they thick?
I’m just saying it doesn’t look conclusive and if you want to prosecute for war crimes, there will have to be conclusive evidence. I’m sure there are gruesome photographs that they have, but will not be shown on mainstream media.I could secure your hands behind your back with a piece of ripped sheets.
I wouldn’t tie your feet unless I wanted to carry you either.
I can’t even compute what you mean by “They need to do better…”, are you saying they should only photograph alleged war crimes if they look gruesome enough?

Anyone who saw the poor woman on BBC News last night, whose son had been killed by the Russian Troops and she had to bury him herself in a carpet would not question any of the pictures. It certainly brought a tear to my eyes.I have to say you could argue this picture looks a bit dodgy. The guy has his hands tied with cloth, legs aren’t tied, there’s no evidence of blood either. So what about the Destruction in Mauriapol? Does that look conclusive enough?I’m just saying it doesn’t look conclusive and if you want to prosecute for war crimes, there will have to be conclusive evidence. Unfortunately, China and India look like they are prepared to continue to do business with Putin.Make no mistake, Putin knows that NATO will not interfere (aside from providing artillery, human aide etc), unless of course he lays just one foot into a NATO Country, and if that happens we will see a Third World War, however, with that said, who are allies to Russia?
Any they do/did have must be concerned about such barbaric actions so will they actually support him when push comes to shove? I think he may find himself all alone on this one and (hopefully) if that happens then any Third World War will be the shortest in history because he cannot out muscle NATO.
But he knows that so his murderous strategy will continue and it could last for years. But then what?
Surely no other Country in the World will trade with him?
Granted he supplies a lot of gas (particularly throughout Europe) but as we speak more and more depots are being constructed in Europe to trade in the gas that is imported from USA .
There are always solutions to problems, although some are more difficult than others.
There is mention on this thread about Russians being behind him, but I’m not so sure.
The more the Russian families recover their relatives back in body bags then the more they will question Putins operation.
I have said from the onset, the only way to stop him is assassination because when he has gone no-one will continue with this slaughter of innocents
His generals, close aides, advisors etc are all scared of him as were the Germans of Hitler.
Agree totally, and I hope solid evidence comes out which Russia can’t dispute. So what about the Destruction in Mauriapol? Does that look conclusive enough?
Civilian apartment blocks after apartment blocks either reduced to rubble or severely damaged, hospitals churches and theatres raised to the ground.
I suppose the Ukrainians could have done it mind as part of the false flag war.
It beggars belief that the Russian people believe Putin, are they thick? Surely many get news through means other than state media, so why don’t they believe it?
Same as what we believe, we get our information mainly from tv and social media, difference is, they only get state tv. It’s also been widely reported that there is support for the “special military operation“ amongst the population. How do we know what the Russian people believe?

As I said at the start Russias aim was to take the 2 regions in the East and est. a corridor to Crimea.Good luck in holding any part of that country in the future. The hatred will run so deep that it will be a lawless hell for decades if it is partitioned in any way.

Sad, but probably true. The difference is that we're allowed to say what we think, and they're not.
I suspect a substantial proportion of the Russian population, particularly the younger ones, living in cities, know they're being fed a crock of s*** by the state media and are finding their way to western sources instead, but not many of them are brave enough to admit it publicly, and those that are don't get reported on anyway.
That really is a strange response to a very saddening photographI have to say you could argue this picture looks a bit dodgy. The guy has his hands tied with cloth, legs aren’t tied, there’s no evidence of blood either. They need to do better than this if they want to stop Russia denying atrocities.
Just thinking that’s how the Russians will explain it.That really is a strange response to a very saddening photograph
Hungary also,Unfortunately, China and India look like they are prepared to continue to do business with Putin.
Sometimes best not to over think, the guy is someone's son, dad, brother, not someone's political statement or PR statementJust thinking that’s how the Russians will explain it.
