Fingers crossed it doesn't but it's lasted half a season so far (and last season when RL took over) so it's not a fluke. They obviously have a way of keeping a set shape, gaining an advantage and then spoiling games, and basically shutting it down as a contest in order to see it out. Yes they didn't do that here but that one derby game isn't a reflection of their season so far any more than it is ours.

If we can do the same under MM, and in the really big games for us, then we're staying up. It won't be pleasing on the eye but we've got to find a way.

It’s a fair point but his failure to change tactics at home shows his limitations.
