Ryder Cup 2023 Rome

Great three days. Home advantage is huge and that with the togetherness of the European team compared to the fractured US team made the difference. We find it easier to make pairings work , they struggle with it .
Not keen on booing people on to the tee or cheering a shot that lands in the thick rough or a bunker but that's just me. It's certainly a unique atmosphere, would love to go to one.

I think it's being held at Staining Golf Club in 2032.
 
Just back. Been to a few Ryder Cups but this was probably the best for location and atmosphere. Stayed in centre of Rome and thought transport might be a problem but it all went with military precision. The venue was huge but after final practise day manage to sort out a strategy for best viewing points round the course. 8 of us from PLF met so many new friends and really looking forward to Ireland. Only downside was we had to keep the girls happy by letting them go shopping !
