I have come to the conclusion that is Simon Sadler as ambitious as he says he is or is at all smoke screens and mirrors because his honey moon period is well over and all that seems to come from him and the rag mag is if a coulda woulda information regarding the new Training Ground and the New east stand where as for one wriggle or another where nothing seems to be getting done.It is about time that a lot of our snow flake fans stood up for the fans rather than think that Sadler was our saviour of the club because it is not true it was Belercon that saved our great club really any way I think it is about time that Sadler invested properly in to the playing side of the club and recruit a Proper manager with exspereance rather than go for the rookie approach and recruit a cheap Manager and as well as a clueless back room staff that are literally robbing a living the reason why Sadler got the fist clincher back in the first place was because he would have been a cheaper option rather bring a more experienced Manager to the club.so finally Simon can I ask you to splash the cash on 4 quality players rather than keep selling your best players like you have done up to now because if you are not prepared to run our great football club how a club should be run on how our fans were led to believe you was going to run the club please consider your options.o and finally what ever happened to the chant on the terrace’s Simon Sadler is one of your own and all so if it is led to believe that you do have plenty of wealth why don’t you start showing it by investing in to our club-the way it should be invested in.

How a football club should be run? Do we carbon copy the way other clubs are run, plow money in on the pure hope we get to X? Not worked well for other clubs.

I agree that maybe there should be more balance between big projects and the playing side of business, but we are well behind in terms of those 'big projects' compared to the clubs in and around where we want to be. It can't be cheap, (how many surveys have we been made to do at the TG site now). But it's much needed. Might prevent the Hamstring curse we have, which can't be too attractive to potential signings.

Experienced staff like we want are not seemingly jumping at the chance to come here from what I've seen so far. Yes we could throw cash at it, but if it doesn't work do we rinse repeat? More cash, new boss, new players.. endless cycle until it works.

Some people are so thick. Critchley the cheaper option, yeah right. Size of squad is huge and all on big salaries for this division so stop being so dumb. Just because they’ve been mismanaged it still doesn’t alter the fact our wage bill is high by league one standards

Mr. Sadler did go down the experienced route by installing McCarthy in the hot seat and without going over past nightmares that didn’t exactly go well.

As much as he was set in his prehistoric ways, there’s no denying he came with a wealth of experience in management.

Genuine question. Who would be your option?

Sadler has invested, it’s a myth to even suggest he hasn’t.

Owning a football club at this level and balancing the financial model cannot be easy.

The reality is we are underperforming as a squad and as a consequence numbers of us are frustrated because we expect our team to be performing significantly better.

Money set aside for training ground, location confirmed and awaiting planning to be accepted by council ✅

Funding set aside for East stand and plans submitted, currently passing through compulsory purchase process ✅

Assembled one of the strongest and largest squads in the division ✅

Currently one of the largest wage bills of the division ✅

There has been no doing it on the cheap imo. The manager is struggling to get his way of playing to fully click and he hasn’t really got to grips with a plan b or c. But he’s not had a full season of a settled squad yet.

Simon was clear from the beginning he would not bankroll the club but instead would make it sustainable and build on buying young talent an d selling on for a profit. Our development squad has lots of talent been taken on for the future and we will reap the rewards, but it will take time, we have already seen profits on players sold and new players will come in to carry that on, but also the team needs seasoned pros to get the right mix.

Not only do I think we won’t get automatic or playoffs this season I don’t think we are ready to go up if we did.

Projects don’t come to fruition overnight or in a season, they build over time. Managers should not be potted in less than a season neither, they need to be helped and assisted as a team by the top down.

Why should we more than anyone else “deserve” to go up?

Simon Sadler owns the Club. His honeymoon period is as long as he wants it to be Pal.

If sadler was ambitious he would have bought bishop, bishop might just have kept us up.The club is a shambles.Oyston had money put to one side, but nothing came from it,planning permission granted,is only on the table so long, then you need to apply again, not much changed under sadler, regarding training ground, west stand. But he has done a bit of painting around the stadium.

This again….

So just how much should he be expected to lose of his wealth every season?

I’m guessing the answer is something like “as much as it takes or find a new owner, prepared to lose as much as it takes?”
I reckon he has lost nothing, only the purchase fee from buying it,which was a good price.Where is the money from bowler, yates, compo for when critch went to villa, plus others.

Just read the annual accounts. It’s all very clear what he has and what he hasn’t spent.
You can read exactly how much money came in to the club and where it’s been spent. You can also see how much debt he’s incurred.

I might not agree with where he spent the money from Bowler etc but it’s all been invested into the club, operations and playing staff

Oyston took massive amounts out, Sadler has put massive amounts in.

Christ, we really seem to have a selection of special fans who love to spend other peoples money, know how to run a football club from their front room, think money grows on trees, we should have Pep as Manager, be top of the league and we really should be beating teams like Burton!
the same bloody people who said ‘I’d take non league football to get rid of the Oystons’
short memories eh…..

Not worth paper they wrote on,Sadler not bought anyone for more money that he has allowed to leave,if he’s invested in players, they are the cheap option, look at bridcut,£205k for 90 mintes football,(that didn’t work out cheap though)extended stewart’s contact, don’t think he played a game.

As I said I don’t agree with where the money he spent has always gone but he has spent it and in large amounts.

Accounts are there for you to read and show exactly where the money was spent.

Of course he hasn’t bought a player for more than we have sold one for as we are not a top 5 Premier League side. Even mid Prem teams have sold a player for more than they’ve paid due to things like wages etc

At least think this through before posting.

“Sadler not bought anyone for more money that he has allowed to leave,”

Actually just checked. Even Liverpool have never achieved that.

Another thickhead!!

I've no problem with Sadlers investment, probably sounds crazy but I still think we've got one of the best squads in this division.

Didn't Sadler only put the new CEO and the recruitment director in place after most of the recruitment last summer? If that is the case, I would like to see what they can do and what backing Sadler provides both in January and next summer. It is clear to me that we lack enough quality and leadership on the pitch. This season was probably always going to be a consolidation and restructuring season, after last season's shambles. I think expectations have been too high. We have also been a bit unlucky with injuries. That does not mean that it has still not been disappointing, especially the manner of the defeats at times, with no fight, creativity, or endeavour.
I am undecided about Critch. We do well at home but perform poorly away and with the same players and tactics. We seem to have an inability to change our shape, tactics, and approach to get a draw or to get a win. That is partly about the manager, but it is also about the quality of the players and their fight. Yesterday, they were second in most tackles. Their passing and finishing were poor, and they didn't deserve anything.

The TG planning permission is in with Wyre council and the hold up is with them, nothing the club can do there. Although he has said it needs to be done cheaper, so whoknows what happens if and when it's approved. Maybe it can be built in stages and inflation has fallen recently, maybe it's a little more viable.

The EAST Stand, not West, is underway, in that compulsory purchasing of the houses is taking place by the council and will probably be all done soon after Christmas.

The big projects, when working with councils etc, don't just happen overnight and hold-up's out of the clubs control can't be helped.
