Just been told by a mate that he has heard we are up for sale.
Asked him how reliable info was - 'semi' was their response.
Personally hope it's not true, and realise I run the risk of a slating for posting it but mate is a life long Pool fan who is usually on the money, and no I won't be naming them.
 
I sincerely hope not. If he is, I can’t see it being financial reasons, could be the abuse last week made him think, do I really need this. Then again, maybe he’s selling shares to raise funds for the development.

Ive said it recently, i think the club is just to costly for him, which is fair enough as they are a money pit, pretty much all clubs are. I reckon if someone would give him what he paid, hed snap their hand off.
 
I think you misheard your mate he 'saddle sale' and I'm sure there are other equestrian related items included in the sale including horseshit.

Whilst you have a point and I hope you are right do you not thing Simon may be a little bit pissed off at the abuse he’s received and question what’s the point. A lot can change in 2 months.

Some fans need to be careful what they wish for.

Hopefully it is bollocks though.

I heard same today. Sadler has had enough and a consortium is readying a bid. I thought it was bollocks in honesty !

Almost what I was thinking but slightly different. I say SS is a hard headed businessman who has climbed to the top in the world of high finance where there are no prisoners taken. I’m sure on his way to the top he will have trodden on a few toes and will have had more than a few insults thrown his way. Whilst no one like being slagged off by ONE knob I don’t think he’s going to go home, cry in a corner then throw his toys out of the pram, he’s much tougher than that. When, and if, he sells it will be for far stronger reasons than that.🍊🍊🍊🍊

No different to most sets of fans these days, big thread on the Burnley forum about the fickle, none supportive nature of a large section of their fan base. They are attributing the boos and negativity to the older fans which would tie in with our moaners and whingers being in the West stand.
It would take more than a few, bitter, spineless pensioners to make Sadler want to sell wouldn't it?
